Come and find out all about the new programme. You'll find out how it all fits together, what it means for the section(s) you work with and about all the new badges and awards. As well as this our Advisers will be there to offer support and advice on a range of topics and you can catch up with friends and make new ones!

Camp Rainbow – camping fun for our youngest members @ Ashley Activity Centre, Cheshire

For the first time ever join with Rainbow units across Girlguiding Manchester this summer at our Rainbow camp which will take place at Ashley Activity Centre and Campsite near Tatton Park. The event will start at lunch time on Saturday and finish late morning on Sunday There will be an action packed programme consisting of outdoor actvities, crafts, activities which will challenge the girls and help them step outside their comfort zone and show that girls can do anything! Cost £20 per Rainbow/£10 per adult leader. More information and the booking form is available here.

A safe space – Level 3 @ North Manchester Golf Club
Jun 11 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
This is a Girlguiding Safe Space Level 3 Training. Before attending you must have completed Level 1 and Level 2 (on-line or face to face but if you do Level 2 on-line you must also have had your discussion) and have completed the Level 3 e-learning module. Level 3 is compulsory for anyone leading a team of adults, leaders in charge (or at least one leader per unit with module four of the Leadership qualification), mentors, advisers, coordinators (except GO coordinators), licence holders on residential events, trainers, tutors and those doing level 4. A safe space – Levels 1 and 2 @ GIrlguiding Pennine HQ, Glossop
Jul 5 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
This is a Girlguiding Safe Space Level 1 and 2 Training. It covers the same material as the e-learning and if you have completed that you do not also need to attend a face to face training. Level 1 is for all volunteers including occasional helpers, GO coordinators, home contacts and parent helpers, peer educators and those doing the Young Leader qualification (age 14+). Level 2 is for leaders, assistant leaders, unit helpers, leaders in training, young leaders, peer educators and those that are doing level 3 and 4. To book click here

Book and Go Survival camp @ Seven Springs OAC, Disley

Join with Brownie and Guide units across Girlguiding Manchester at our Survival themed "book and go" camp at Seven Springs Outdoor Activity Centre in Disley. Leaders with or without residential licences can bring Brownies or Guides (up to age 14) to take part.  A team will provide the programme, look after accommodation and provide catering. Leaders attending will help run the activities. Tents can be provided for an additional fee on a first come first served basis. Everyone is welcome but because of limited places we want to give priority to units who do not yet have the relevant qualifications to take their girls away. Full 6 hour 1st response course @ All Saints and Martyrs Church, Middleton
Jul 14 @ 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
1st Response is a basic six-hour first aid course designed specifically for members of Girlguiding and The Scout Association. It is valid for three years and gives you the basic first aid skills you need to provide first aid within guiding. The cost is £20 and can be claimed back from unit funds.  The cost includes a course handbook.  Lunch and drinks will be provided. To book a place click here
Under the sea activity day for Rainbows and Brownies @ Albion Church, Ashton-under-Lyne

 This activity day will take place on Saturday 14th July from 11am - 4pm at Albion Church, Ashton-under-Lyne. Girls must be accompanied by Leaders.

The cost is £10 for girls and £2 for adults.

You can then choose from page 2 or 3 to share the information with the Rainbows and Brownies in your units.

Money raised from the event will be used to support members who have been selected to represent the County at various international events this Summer.
