Region Outdoor Bursary Did you know that outdoor bursaries are available to members of Girlguiding UK to attend courses and obtain qualifications in outdoor activities. These include qualifications of the recognised national governing body of an outdoor activity such as the British Canoe Union, Mountain Leadership Training Board, Grand National Archery Society. They can also be used to gain any Girlguiding UK qualification for which there is no equivalent offered by a national governing body for the activity concerned such as the Walking Scheme and Rowing Scheme.
